What the Vivideo integrations for ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor send to the assistant you are using, why they send it, and how to stop them.
Last updated 22 September 2026.
This notice covers only the Vivideo integrations that connect your Vivideo account to an AI assistant: the ChatGPT app, the Claude connector and the Cursor integration. It sits alongside the Vivideo Privacy Policy, which remains authoritative for everything else, including how Vivideo collects, processes, stores and deletes your data, your rights, and international transfers. Where this notice is more specific, it is because these integrations send a defined set of data to a third party the main policy does not describe.
These integrations are optional. Nothing described here happens unless you connect your Vivideo account to an assistant yourself.
When you ask the assistant to do something with Vivideo, it calls Vivideo on your behalf and receives a reply. Everything in that reply becomes visible to the assistant and is handled under that assistant provider's own privacy policy. The reply can contain:
Vivideo's public catalogue of generation models, stock presenters and stock voices is not personal data and is sent freely.
Solely to carry out the request you made in the assistant: to report what your account can do, to list or play videos you already made, to estimate what a generation would cost, and to create a video you asked for. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or training Vivideo's models, and Vivideo does not sell it.
Prompts you send through an assistant are processed exactly as prompts sent anywhere else in Vivideo: they go to the third-party generation providers that render the video, and they are stored with the project. This is described under "AI Processing and Your Content" in the Vivideo Privacy Policy.
Connecting an assistant stores a durable link between the identity you signed in with and your Vivideo account, so a later session reaches the same library. Access tokens are not stored. Videos, prompts and preview frames are kept in your Vivideo account until you delete them, as set out in the main policy.
What the assistant provider retains of a conversation is governed by that provider, not by Vivideo.
Disconnecting an assistant does not delete videos you already created, and does not affect your Vivideo account.
These integrations are not directed to children, and follow the age terms in the Vivideo Privacy Policy.
If a Vivideo integration begins sending a category of data not listed above, this notice is updated before that change ships. The date at the top reflects the current version.
